Jordan Hamilton gets MVP of the Week award for West Asia Super League (by Hoops Agents)

Experienced American Jordan Hamilton (201-F-1990) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader Shahrdari Gorgan and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 35-year old forward had the game-high 25 points adding nine rebounds and three assists for Gorgan in his team's victory, helping them to crush, the league's bottom-ranked team Astana (#4, 0-1) with 16-point margin 91-75. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Gorgan to jump to the first place in the West Asia Super League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Gorgan won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Hamilton had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Gorgan's top player in his first season with the team. Jordan Hamilton averages just after two games 22.0ppg, 7.5rpg and 5.0apg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young guard Ali Mansour (185-G-1998) of second-ranked Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut. Mansour impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 14 points and 13 assists. Of course Al Riyadi cruised to a 87-80 relatively comfortable win over Sagesse (#6, 0-2). Mansour is a newcomer at Al Riyadi and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

The third best performed player last round was another Al Riyadi's star - American Maurice Kemp (203-PF-1991). Kemp scored 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was another key player of Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut, helping his team with a 87-80 win against Sagesse (#6, 0-2). Al Riyadi has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Kemp also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. Kemp has a very solid season. In 2 games in West Asia Super League he scored 15.5ppg.
